This is a documentary short from this year's Oscars. It's not my favorite but it is on YouTube so at least it's accessible.As young adults, Paul and Millie Cao dated for about six months. Then Paul's family had to flee Vietnam because of the Communist regime. He was a refugee but eventually made it to the United States of America. For six years, Paul worked with the embassy to sponsor a visa for Millie, eventually bringing her over. After so much time had passed, both had reservations about whether or not they were still a good match. And then they started dancing together.
This is a very cute story but I would have liked a little more detail than could be fit in 20 minutes. The dance performance at the end was almost enough to make up for it, and frankly, I would have been okay with it if they had just focused on their dancing and competitions.
