Frankenhooker (1990)

My final entry in Frankentober.  Content warning:  dismemberment, drug use, gore (?)

After a tragic remote-controlled lawnmower accident, Jeff (James Lorinz) decides to rebuild his dead girlfriend, Elizabeth (Patty Mullen), as the perfect woman.  But to do that, he needs body parts, so he heads down to Times Square and starts trolling for hookers.  He's not a bad guy; he wants their deaths to be relatively painless, so he engineers a heightened version of crack that will kill them instantly.  It also causes them to explode, but omelet, eggs, etc.  The transplant also doesn't go as planned and Liz wakes up with only freakish strength and the insatiable need to have sex for money.

Believe it or not, this is actually pretty wholesome.  There's very little blood (a garden gnome is artfully splashed) and all the women seem to be having a pretty good time.  It's a Troma film so the prop department had a $27 budget and a handful of firecrackers, but they made it work.  Mullen is the star here but a special shout-out to Joseph Gonzalez as Zorro the pimp.  A+ work.  It's streaming on a bunch of free-with-ads sites like Tubi, Vudu, Freevee, Plex, and PlutoTV but is also available on Kanopy, Shudder, and Amazon Prime.  I promise it is better than the name implies while also being exactly what it is.
