I haven't actually sat down and watched this in forever. Shaun (Simon Pegg) is a lovable underachiever sliding comfortably into a slacker routine facilitated by his best friend, Ed (Nick Frost), until his girlfriend, Liz (Kate Ashfield), dumps him and a zombie apocalypse happens. Now faced with hordes of hungry undead, Shaun must pull everything together and save his friends and family.
I don't know if I have the words to describe the genius that is Shaun of the Dead. This movie single-handedly revived both the zombie and the horror comedy genres, catapulted Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright into the A-list, and gave the world so many quotable moments.
