Apparently, this is the third entry in the Police Story franchise. Miramax has a lot to answer for with regards to their treatment of foreign properties. Kevin (Jackie Chan) is one of the best cops in Hong Kong so naturally he is chosen for a special mission to go undercover on the mainland. His liaison, Inspector Yang (Michelle Yeoh), is very strict and by-the-book but as she and Kevin get drawn deeper and deeper into the web of crime, they form a real bond of partnership.
No one should care what this movie is about. It's Michelle Yeoh and Jackie Chan kicking ass together. That is what is important. So much ass-kicking. So many explosions. So many really dangerous stunts. It's awesome. This is my favorite out of the entire collection.
