Too bad it's such a shitty one. Samantha Darko (Daveigh Chase) has never fully come to grips with what happened to her brother, Donnie. She's just kind of wandering aimlessly through life with her friend, Corey (Briana Evigan), when their car breaks down in a small town. Then Sam starts to get visions of a terrible future and the end of the world.
Honestly, this movie is so lame I don't even want to waste words on it. I loved Donnie Darko and clearly so did the people behind this "sequel". But loving something doesn't mean you're going to be good at it and this is at best a shittier Run Lola Run and at worst an appalling piece of banality masquerading as philosophy.
